Du warst einfach immer f\u00fcr Spa\u00df zu haben. Das hat mich auch so an Dir fasziniert, als ich Dich 1985 kennengelernt habe. Es war bei Philips, Du warst dort zentraler Werbeleiter und ich war eine Quotenfrau \u2013 in Deiner Abteilung. Ernsthaftes Arbeiten und Lachen, das stand in keinem Widerspruch, sondern war Dogma. Als Du dann beim Konsum die Stelle des zentralen Werbeleiters \u00fcbernommen hattest, war es dann schon etwas schwieriger mit dem Lachen. Zu viele Interessen, zu viel Ideologie und nicht besonders viel Professionalit\u00e4t. Aber Du hast es auch dort geschafft \u2013 und alle Lebensmittelketten haben Deine Idee der bedruckten Tragtaschen und gestalteten Lieferfahrzeuge \u00fcbernommen und nachgemacht \u2013mit aufgemaltem Obst, Gem\u00fcse, Fisch und Vielem mehr.<\/p>\n<p>1995 war dann Dein Jahr. Der Konsum ist in den Konkurs gegangen und Du warst frei f\u00fcr die Kunst. Nat\u00fcrlich hast Du am Anfang unter dem Verlust des Arbeitsplatzes gelitten, aber schon gegen Ende des Jahres warst Du wieder bei der Arbeit, beim Malen und Zeichnen und nat\u00fcrlich auch beim Modellbau Deiner Schiffe.<\/p>\n<p>1993, habe ich Dir das \u201enachhaltigste\u201c Geburtstagsgeschenk gemacht. Ich habe Dir eine Kurswoche \u201eRadieren\u201c bei Christoph Donin* in Neumarkt\/Raab geschenkt. Die Druckgraphik hat Dich dann nicht mehr losgelassen und Neumarkt auch nicht mehr. Jedes Jahr warst Du im Sommer dort.\u00a0 Zuerst eine Woche, dann 2, dann 3 und mehr Wochen, bis Du im Jahr 2010 die \u00d6lm\u00fchle als Dein Sommeratelier gemietet hast. Dort hast Du auch Radierung und experimentelles Aquarell unterrichtet, hast die Druckwerkst\u00e4tte mitbetreut und die Neuank\u00f6mmlinge am Sonntag eingewiesen. Dein Atelier war stets offen f\u00fcr alle \u2013 ob Sie nun Deine Bilder, Deine Objekte sehen oder auch nur die alte M\u00fchle besichtigen wollten. In der \u00d6lm\u00fchle sind auch nahezu alle Deine Objekte entstanden.<\/p>\n<p>In Neumarkt warst Du am gl\u00fccklichsten. Dort hast Du Deine kreativste und produktivste Zeit verbracht. Auf der Bank vor der M\u00fchle bist Du immer gesessen und hast mit allen Vorbeikommenden geplaudert. Freunde hattest Du dort so viele, dass ich manchmal beinahe eifers\u00fcchtig war.<\/p>\n<p>Krank warst Du nat\u00fcrlich auch. Deine Arterien waren schwer verkalkt aber die Kunst der \u00c4rzte und Deine Kunst haben Dich nie verzweifeln lassen.<\/p>\n<p>Als der Hubschrauber im Sommer 2011 bei der M\u00fchle gelandet ist um Dich mit einer Sickerblutung ins AKH zu bringen warst Du Dorfgespr\u00e4ch \u2013 was Dich, wie h\u00e4tte es anders sein k\u00f6nnen &#8211; sehr erheitert hat.<\/p>\n<p>Und so bist Du auch gegangen, immer noch positiv und voller Ambitionen.
